Taylor started playing volleyball when she was 10 and grew up in Kansas playing both indoor and beach volleyball. Taylor played collegiate indoor volleyball at Butler as a 6 rotation Outside Hitter and later transferred to Wichita State where she graduated with a BS in chemistry. Taylor was Head Coach of 15s, 16s, and 17s for 3 years at Shockwave Volleyball Club in Kansas. Currently, Taylor plays beach, grass, and indoor tournaments.
