Trevor Hewitt comes to Beach South Volleyball Club after seven years owning and directing Twin City Volleyball Academy (TCVA). He worked as a lead trainer and team coach for Set Point Volleyball Club (2014-2016), was the director of Sportsplex Volleyball Club (2008-2014), and volleyball director of the Greensboro Sportsplex (2006-2014). He served as head varsity volleyball coach at Walter Hines Page High School in Greensboro from 2006-2018, leading the Pirates to the NCHSAA playoffs every season.
Prior to his time at Page, Trevor was the assistant volleyball coach at Guilford College for the 2005 season. Trevor served as a head coach with Piedmont Volleyball Club from 2006-2012. He served with the Carolina Region High Performance Volleyball Club as head and assistant coach of various age group teams from 2005-2010, and 2014-2015 and USA Volleyball High Performance as national tryouts court coach, evaluator, and camp director from 2006-2011.
Before moving to North Carolina from Delaware in 2005, Trevor worked with the Brandywine Volleyball Club as a head coach to both girls’ and boys’ teams from 2001-2005. His high school stops include Thomas McKean High School, as the girls’ varsity volleyball head coach, 2003-2004, and boys’ varsity volleyball head coach, 2003-2005; Salesianum High School, boys’ varsity assistant coach, 2001-2002; John Dickinson High School boys’ varsity assistant coach, 1998-2000.
